Why did I choose this place ?

I went on a school trip 4 years ago, and during this trip we lived with English families in Nottingham. We visited the city and I loved it. I want to show some places in Nottingham.

Nottingham is in England and was called Snotingeham before.

The Council House of Nottingham

Located in the city center, it is a recent monument built in 1927. There is a "twin" Council House in Birmingham very similar by its dome where the coachman is located. In front of this building, there is the Old Market Square which is a large square.

Robin Hood Statue

Nottingham is the city of the hero who steals from the rich to help the poor in need. In Nottingham there is Sherwood Forest, the forest of Robin Hood and its statue.

The castle of Nottingham

It is near the statue of Robin Hood in the city, it is very imposing by its round towers. Originally this castle was a wooden castle founded by William the Conqueror in 1067. But it was destroyed and rebuilt by a stone castle by Henry I in 1200.

Nottingham is a city full of history essentially rooted in the Middle Ages, we can see it because of the buildings.
